Racing Club【LBF】's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Kang Yi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Eufemio saved Racing Club【LBF】 from getting behind. Maximilian Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Yngve Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Racing Club【LBF】's Maximilian Strömbom threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lisandro Lopez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lu Kang Yi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Racing Club【LBF】's Marcelo Eufemio got control of the ball when Yngve Sandström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelsinho Tepedino hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
