Spectators: 7724 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urbano Sagrario started the match with the kick off. Edgard Maraschin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Hodei having to interfere. Edgard Maraschin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Venancio Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Maraschin in the 18th minute of the match. Jonas Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Fabiofs's Jonas Pombal got control of the ball when Urbano Sagrario tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Urbano Sagrario fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franja Dorada's protests and gave Urbano Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Sagrario. Urbano Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Remicio during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Paio in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fabiofs's Ramón Fantini. After 34 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Tajo. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Maraschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Fabiofs got a corner. Franja Dorada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dalmo de Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lisandro Remicio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Urbano Sagrario succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 46th playminute.

The wind increased when Edgard Maraschin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Maraschin in the 56th minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Maraschin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Hodei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Ramón Fantini's late challenge caught a Franja Dorada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ramón Fantini hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Franja Dorada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Tajo to maneuver through the defense. Fabiofs's Edgard Maraschin got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Maraschin in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Patricio Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Sagrario in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Pombal saved Fabiofs from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Sagrario in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remo Simão hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, Fabiofs's Edgard Maraschin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Hodei was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vitório das Neves hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Franja Dorada had won after a very even match.
