Alonso Javier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Antecha, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Angelino Froila lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vampiros Aztecas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Vampiros Aztecas:s Alonso Javier showed great skill when he stopped Evaristo Gurruchaga:s penalty. After some careless play in the Vampiros Aztecas defense, Osvaldo Peregrin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonso Javier. The Vampiros Aztecas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonso Javier should have stopped the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Jonathan Antecha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vampiros Aztecas's Alonso Javier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alonso Javier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ishmael Rico in the 33rd minute of play. If Teo Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Diegotxe Botella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vanadio F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Peregrin made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Ladislao Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Ispuzua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Joaquin Ispuzua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Balendin in the 58th minute of play. If Teo Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Balendin struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joaquin Ispuzua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiros Aztecas. Jonathan Antecha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Vanadio F.C.'s Osvaldo Peregrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonso Javier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 72 minutes into the match, Diegotxe Botella notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Vampiros Aztecas's Alonso Javier. Alonso Javier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Eden Hazar replaced Jonathan Antecha. Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Balendin in the 78th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Alonso Javier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tajo Longoria. In the 88th minute, Eden Hazar made a precise shot to the right of Alonso Javier. Vampiros Aztecas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 92nd minute, Tajo Longoria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonso Javier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. 95 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Eden Hazar came free, but Alonso Javier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Vanadio F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vampiros Aztecas.
