Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Rufio in the 20th minute of play. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Peru in the 24th minute of the match. Alejandro Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Paio in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Urbano Sagrario notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rivermania FC's Alejandro Truylos. Alejandro Truylos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Truylos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2.

After 84 played minutes, Franja Dorada's Benigno Rito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Truylos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Franja Dorada reached it. After having played for 93 minutes, Leonardo Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franja Dorada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Paio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franja Dorada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
