Emilis Rožėnas was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Beatriz 08's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Emilis Rožėnas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero did a great save. 16 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Xacintu came free, but Abel Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Santos in the 31st minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Abel Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Gregório Brochado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
