DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Vintilă Arieșan got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Rizescu. In the 44thth minute of the game Ilie Balaci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elbert Klerk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Toni Marčić came free, but Virgil Crăciun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilie Balaci in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elbert Klerk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Virgil Crăciun got control of the ball when Osmar Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilie Balaci in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elbert Klerk saved GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting behind. Ilie Balaci struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Elbert Klerk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-. If Ilie Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Klerk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbert Klerk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Balaci's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The supporters of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- booed when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Balaci might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elbert Klerk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilie Balaci ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
