Manuel Necula was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s corner Manuel Necula fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Borimir Karadzhov quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Momchil Denkin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Virgil Crăciun. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Borimir Karadzhov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilie Balaci went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. FC Old Dogs United's Borimir Karadzhov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Balaci in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Arieșan in the 28th minute of play forced FC Old Dogs United's goalkeeper Borimir Karadzhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Ciorănescu's late challenge caught a FC Old Dogs United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Ciorănescu helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Ciorănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ilie Balaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borimir Karadzhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Di Fabrizio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilie Balaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borimir Karadzhov having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Vintilă Arieșan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Cârju to maneuver through the defense. Virgil Crăciun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Violet Skachkov in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Ilie Balaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Balaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Stayko Pavlikyanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Necula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Vintilă Arieșan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borimir Karadzhov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 71 minutes on the clock, Paulo Gerber commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Old Dogs United! Manuel Necula walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 74 minutes into the match, FC Old Dogs United's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Borimir Karadzhov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preslav Alyakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the game Iliyan Stoyanov made a throw-in which Totyo Brandiyski played forward. When Ilie Balaci came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Balaci couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci got a free kick in the 96th minute. A collision led to FC Old Dogs United getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Momchil Denkin hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
