Spectators: 8074 (Terracing: 6057, Seating: 1857, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Flores took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daud Gazale came free, but Paolo Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSD Concepción were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tor Tuga took the corner. In the 10th match minute, CSD Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Manilan to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Joaquín Patron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Americo Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Ellande. Mario Flores blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Obeko having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Mario Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Obeko was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Manilan. Paolo Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daud Gazale in the 34th minute of play. Nicolás Villamil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Urtats in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Ellande in the 44th minute of play forced CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Nicolás Villamil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linus Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nicolás Villamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Flores in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Obeko saved Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting behind. A collision led to CSD Concepción getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Daud Gazale hit a great ball. Paolo Obeko was a little too slow when Erasmo Lacunza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 70th minute Erasmo Lacunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolás Villamil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erasmo Lacunza came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Lacunza couldn't finish the play. Nicolás Villamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. CSD Concepción's Nicolás Villamil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Pirro in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CSD Concepción eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
