Amadeo Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermosilla Concha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Liu Zhi Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Casals in the 19th minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Amadeo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Hultstrand's late challenge caught a River Plate ® 9-12's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Salbatore charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Salbatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Remigio Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwidon Patora made a great header on Veth Crystals's corner, it was just that River Plate ® 9-12's Amadeo Carrizo managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermosilla Concha to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Maksymilian Kasprzak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate ® 9-12's Amadeo Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate ® 9-12 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when River Plate ® 9-12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Zhi Guang got free with Amadeo Carrizo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Carrizo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gwidon Patora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hermosilla Concha hit a great ball. Amadeo Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Wierzbicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Hermosilla Concha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Jakue was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Amadeo Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 85th minute. Dexter Morgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tiburcio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match, Liu Zhi Guang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amadeo Carrizo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes into the match, Liu Zhi Guang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeo Carrizo, 1-3. After some careless play in the River Plate ® 9-12 defense, Liu Zhi Guang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Carrizo. The River Plate ® 9-12 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Carrizo should have stopped the shot. Veth Crystals's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
