An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo de Souza in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Buzău fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when FC Buzău's Emilian Răduța looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alex Buzincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Gol in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Romário Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Buzincu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Gol. 19 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when George Ţiţeica came free, but José Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Buzincu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Gol's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Romário Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Sandell in the 43rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, one of Lupere FC - DMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lupere FC - DMZ. After 56 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luizão da Silva. In the 59th minute, Romário Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Romário Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Romário Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alex Buzincu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Nasta in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lupere FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ionuț Năsturel was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Buzău's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Buzău's corner Ionuț Năsturel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Munhoz quite easily take care of the ball. José Munhoz made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ionuț Năsturel sent off a good shot on target. After 94 minutes, Sven-Arne Sandell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC - DMZ and the FC Buzău players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Sandell to maneuver through the defense. FC Buzău's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
