FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Buzău from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, 1930 Bafraspor's Erdal Tamkoç dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlker Aytekin. After 26 minutes FC Buzău's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Popescu who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdal Tamkoç in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Buzincu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes of play, 1930 Bafraspor's Robin Hood made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Buzincu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Buzincu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Erdal Tamkoç sent off a good shot on target. İlker Aytekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Ionuț Năsturel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qin Sen Chen. 1930 Bafraspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Năsturel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Ilie Nasta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Qin Sen Chen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute, Ionuț Năsturel made a precise shot to the right of Qin Sen Chen. 1930 Bafraspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a rather tough play, 1930 Bafraspor's Saip Sezgen got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdal Tamkoç in the 68th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qin Sen Chen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Nasta, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 1930 Bafraspor's Qin Sen Chen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Nasta in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Hood in the 71st minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's Erdal Tamkoç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Buzincu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erdal Tamkoç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Buzincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdal Tamkoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Ilie Nasta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Nasta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1930 Bafraspor's Abdi Mehmet Özyuva was substituted for Abdulkerim Bardakçı. 1930 Bafraspor's Rahman Kabadayı was substituted for Saip Sezgen. FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Sarmento in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes FC Buzău's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Popescu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on 1930 Bafraspor's corner George Popescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Buzincu quite easily take care of the ball. Erdal Tamkoç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Buzincu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Alex Buzincu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Sarmento in the 96th minute of play. FC Buzău's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
