In the 3rd minute Erdal Tamkoç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when 1930 Bafraspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulkerim Bardakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ defense, Robin Hood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Ursino. The ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Ursino should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Bruno Guillelme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bruno Guillelme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bruno Guillelme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, one of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ. Erdal Tamkoç shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 20th minute, Erdal Tamkoç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1930 Bafraspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdal Tamkoç in the 25th minute of play forced ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led 1930 Bafraspor's George Popescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Clodoveo Ursino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Osman Gulson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Marco Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Sen Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ursino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, 1930 Bafraspor's Erdal Tamkoç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Ursino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1930 Bafraspor's Rahman Kabadayı was substituted for Saip Sezgen. 78 minutes into the game, Jorge Sal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1930 Bafraspor the free kick.
