When Enéas Leite, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alex Buzincu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 10th minute, FC Buzău's George Ţiţeica ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Gustavo do Nascimento. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the FC Buzău defense, Dino Tavares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Buzincu. The FC Buzău fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Buzincu should have stopped the shot. Mihail Gherdan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Leite in the 19th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ionuț Năsturel could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Luís Gustavo do Nascimento however easily saved by the left post. Alex Buzincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Tavares in the 25th minute of the match. Nova Venécia-ES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dário de Salles in the 27th minute. The corner ended in Dário de Salles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu did a great save. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Gherdan in the 28th minute of play. FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Rezende in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Rezende in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Gherdan's late challenge caught a Nova Venécia-ES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 58th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Peres to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Rezende. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Răduța, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Ilie Nasta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Venécia-ES's Luís Gustavo do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Răduța in the 78th minute of play. Emilian Răduța spun around in front of the goal 78 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Nova Venécia-ES's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Răduța in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo do Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 minutes, Emilian Răduța made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Răduța in the 90th minute of the match. Jano Alcântara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. FC Buzău's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
