Daniel Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Ţiţeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Mrongowiusz Szczepanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mrongowiusz Szczepanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, one of FC Buzău:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Buzău. The referee gave Elmtaryd Agunnaryd a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arnold Stark, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's zone, Emilian Răduța stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Viklund came out of the goal and Emilian Răduța tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Elmtaryd Agunnaryd getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Börje Malmström hit a great ball. After 42 minutes, Arnold Stark made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Buzău's Alex Buzincu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Arnold Stark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Buzincu. FC Buzău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnold Stark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilian Răduța to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Vlădoiu to maneuver through the defense. Aristide Vlădoiu got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mihail Gherdan. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Michael Svanberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Daniel Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Adam in the 71st minute of play. Daniel Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Năsturel in the 72nd minute of the match.
