Spectators: 7962 (Terracing: 5973, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boubacar Otabo started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Ashley Ross came free, but Remo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albrecht Scheuer in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albrecht Scheuer during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albrecht Scheuer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ashley Ross's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remo Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Edward Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boubacar Otabo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Simon Böck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Böck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lou Harnack's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Remo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boubacar Otabo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lou Harnack in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boubacar Otabo in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Deon Bye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greenbay's supporters rose to their feet, but Deon Bye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes, Dennis Kühlem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VfL Bad Nenndorf and the Greenbay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VfL Bad Nenndorf getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dennis Kühlem hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ashley Ross to make the kick off. Deon Bye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Remo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ashley Ross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boubacar Otabo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Edward Engström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in VfL Bad Nenndorf's zone, Deon Bye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Borges came out of the goal and Deon Bye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Greenbay's Edward Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Greenbay's Edward Engström got control of the ball when Timo Geyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goalkeeper Edward Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albrecht Scheuer. 80 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Geyer came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyler Morton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greenbay made a substitution. Zack Alderson replaced Ashley Ross. When Boubacar Otabo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the VfL Bad Nenndorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boubacar Otabo couldn't finish the play. Edward Engström made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Boubacar Otabo sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes Greenbay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clemens Frühauf who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Clemens Frühauf almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Greenbay's Edward Engström did a great save. Remo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesut Özil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VfL Bad Nenndorf! The VfL Bad Nenndorf players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Greenbay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
