Edward Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Hitzeder in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Jonas Jonas made a precise shot to the right of Edward Engström. Greenbay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Fabrizio De Feo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save ASD Real Molinella 1911 from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Greenbay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Jonas was slow to take the kick. During this time ASD Real Molinella 1911's players had a chance to rest. Mesut Özil scored 1-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio De Feo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Alati came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Hitzeder in the 39th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute ASD Real Molinella 1911 were awarded a corner. Jonas Jonas went to the cornerflag to take it. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Jonas Jonas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Engström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mesut Özil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Hitzeder struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Edward Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASD Real Molinella 1911. Panayot Gadzhov hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The Greenbay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ASD Real Molinella 1911 were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenico Alati to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Domenico Alati managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASD Real Molinella 1911's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Alati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Alati kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, ASD Real Molinella 1911's goal looked a bit too open when Mesut Özil came free, but Fabrizio De Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Mesut Özil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio De Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamás Túri thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Edward Engström, a very annoying self made goal in the 87th minute which led to 2-5. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Camillo Talamo was substituted for Amadeo Hitzeder. Camillo Talamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ASD Real Molinella 1911's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
