Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Florin in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Real Ayuntamiento CF booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Simmons didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Recolta Alamor's Rupert Simmons made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Enmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Quintin came free, but Grigore Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Rex Ellis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Enmanuel. Real Ayuntamiento CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rex Ellis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lorenzo Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Ellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Cronshagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Enmanuel having to interfere. Lorenzo Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Ellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Cronshagen came free, but Lorenzo Enmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Sidro to make the kick off.
