Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rex Ellis got the match started through his kick off. Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lobo Guará in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Guilherme Souza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca. Grigore Proca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Imbituba - FSCMZ's Guilherme Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rex Ellis in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grigore Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Cronshagen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigore Proca was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Grigore Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rex Ellis got free with Vítor Saraiva in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rex Ellis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cronshagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Guilherme Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Proca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Júnior Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Imbituba - FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lobo Guará was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes Recolta Alamor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesinha Vieira who took care of the corner kick. Cafu Aparecido was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 56 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Ellis came free, but Vítor Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58th play minutes Rex Ellis shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Vítor Saraiva and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Imbituba - FSCMZ defense, Rupert Simmons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Saraiva. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Saraiva should have stopped the shot. Lobo Guará hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Recolta Alamor made a substitution. Norberto Ivey replaced Phil Riggs. In the 73rd minute, Lobo Guará hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Norberto Ivey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Rex Ellis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Vítor Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Lobo Guará ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Grigore Proca. Grigore Proca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. 80 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Grigore Proca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Souza. In the 82nd minute, Rupert Simmons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Recolta Alamor's Tyson Helton was substituted for Luciano Cronshagen. Grigore Proca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guilherme Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 86 minute of play. Vítor Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Ivey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
