Braga Junior FC's José Vítor Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Gennaro Carabajal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perico Ferrer in the 47th minute of play forced The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Robby Tuttle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Vitor Senqui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Silvinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robby Tuttle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
