In the 4th minute Aytunç Şerefhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Armitage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Freitas in the 5th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Ross Armitage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ross Armitage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aytunç Şerefhan's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Predators were awarded a corner. Çakır Baycan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Çakır Baycan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ross Armitage quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, Predators's goalkeeper Uchenna Panter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rowan Ryder. 20 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Freitas came free, but Ross Armitage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henley on Thames United's Ross Armitage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakır Baycan in the 24th minute of play. Rowan Ryder succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. Rowan Ryder hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Henley on Thames United's Glenn Westwood in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Predators's goalie prevented a goal. Rowan Ryder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ross Armitage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buğra Tuğlu in the 41st minute of the match. Ross Armitage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çakır Baycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match Predators got a corner. Henley on Thames United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Çakır Baycan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Çakır Baycan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Henley on Thames United's Ross Armitage did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcel Freitas made the kick off in the second half. When Jeremy Gray came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Henley on Thames United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Gray couldn't finish the play. Glenn Westwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Uchenna Panter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Rick Holt. Henley on Thames United's Tarjei Tomren was substituted for Vance Ainsworth. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rick Holt hit a great ball. Henley on Thames United's Ross Armitage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Henley on Thames United from getting a goal against them. Ross Armitage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakır Baycan in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Freitas got free with Ross Armitage in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Tony Plumber made a precise shot to the right of Uchenna Panter. Predators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ross Armitage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Freitas in the 84th minute. Aytunç Şerefhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Armitage having to interfere. Glenn Westwood blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uchenna Panter having to make a save. Glenn Westwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uchenna Panter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Baycan came free, but Ross Armitage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tony Plumber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uchenna Panter was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, Henley on Thames United could leave the field as winners, despite Predators having more of the ball for most of the match.
