The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nicodim Zogreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Costică Brânzaș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruud Windmuller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Oséias Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Ştati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Nicodim Zogreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Dacian Burnei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruud Windmuller in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 34 minutes into the match, Sorin Lipan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller. Ruud Windmuller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dudu Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Félix's late challenge caught a Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Félix helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedê Trancoso during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 50 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Trancoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Burnei in the 51st minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Iftodi charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Iftodi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ion Iftodi hit a great ball. Ionuț Nicolescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Windmuller having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Félix came free, but Ernest Ştati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Joaquim Félix put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernest Ştati. Costică Brânzaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Windmuller having to interfere. With a little luck, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller got control of the ball when Basarab Rareș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Călin Cotoi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Joaquim Félix scored 2-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Ştati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 minutes of play Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ion Iftodi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Renan Jacinto hit a great ball. Sorin Lipan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costică Brânzaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Brânzaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ruud Windmuller made a huge save. Ibirama Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ for a fine match.
