LOI's Johannes Sobeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 15th minute of play. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bernardo Moreira managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when LOI's Rickard Thidén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 22 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Guerra came free, but Johannes Sobeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Sobeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 26th minute of the match. Bernardo Moreira came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Rickard Thidén. But to his dismay, Rickard Thidén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 39th minute Ronaldo Nazário De Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Sobeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 42nd minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper Johannes Sobeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ali Kaan Saban fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOI's protests and gave Ali Kaan Saban a yellow card for diving instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Nazário De Lima made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgian Arrascaeta came free, but Johannes Sobeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warren FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rickard Thidén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Elano Matos hit a great ball. Hikmet Şafakgün missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 66 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Bernardo Moreira right hand side. LOI made a substitution. Bonifacio Laurin replaced Rickard Thidén. LOI's Sadri Tekdoğan was substituted for Balaban Tuğlu. The supporters of Warren FC - DMZ booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Barış Yarlık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarık Sehhar in the 81st minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
