The audience was convinced that Kartal Başar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halil Utku Evvah was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartal Başar in the 13th minute of the match. Waut Vanden Berghe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nechifor Beșliu's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 32nd minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 89 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Billy Hendrickx. Waut Vanden Berghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toader Bogrea in the 92nd minute. Twierdza Osowiec's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
