The excitement rose when ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Teodosio Garci after 9 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-0. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Walkowski in the 11th minute. Victor Grimalschi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Lukasz Hodyl put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Petr Čech. ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Benedykt Kajfasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Sângeorzan in the 30th minute of play. When Mircea Musteatã fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Puturoasa's protests and gave Mircea Musteatã a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Walkowski struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Petr Čech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006. Lukasz Hodyl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Adam Walkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Pavel Spãtaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Teodosio Garci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Čech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Emil Sângeorzan made the kick off in the second half. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Hodyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 67 minutes UFC Puturoasa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodosio Garci who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's corner Teodosio Garci fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Petr Čech quite easily take care of the ball. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Walkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 78th match minute, UFC Puturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Musteatã to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Lukasz Hodyl sped through UFC Puturoasa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petr Čech. Lukasz Hodyl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. Lukasz Hodyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petr Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006's Lukasz Hodyl got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
