Horácio Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Čech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horácio Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Puturoasa's zone, Wágner Fox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Čech came out of the goal and Wágner Fox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Mircea Musteatã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Wágner Fox nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Fox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alperen Bozkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexei Caraman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Gonçalves in the 31st minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Ruslan Pânzaru hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Wágner Fox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petr Čech was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wágner Fox sped through UFC Puturoasa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petr Čech. Alexei Caraman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Alperen Bozkurt made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexei Caraman got free with Alperen Bozkurt in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Golaki Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexei Caraman took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alperen Bozkurt. Alperen Bozkurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Wágner Fox received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petr Čech came out and tried to block the shot, but Wágner Fox slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 57th minute. Wágner Fox scored 1-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petr Čech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alperen Bozkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexei Caraman in the 63rd minute of play. Horácio Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, UFC Puturoasa's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Wágner Fox tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th match minute, UFC Puturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Musteatã to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Alexei Caraman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Luiz Fábio Passos replaced Horácio Gonçalves. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Wágner Fox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Fox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wágner Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Fox in the 95th minute.
