Spectators: 7987 (Terracing: 5991, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mainor Calderon started the match with the kick off. Mainor Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiano Treviño having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Qwinton Pedrosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olger Azofeifa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to CD SHETTANI getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rogelio Garro hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Olger Azofeifa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qwinton Pedrosa in the 21st minute of play forced CD SHETTANI's goalkeeper Olger Azofeifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabe Ebbe during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabe Ebbe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, Picanya FC's Baiardo Candamil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olger Azofeifa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Picanya FC reached it. Olger Azofeifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerico Ramos in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picanya FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Treviño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mainor Calderon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastiano Treviño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Mainor Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 minutes, Nestor Villegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD SHETTANI and the Picanya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Nestor Villegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastiano Treviño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mainor Calderon's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Sebastiano Treviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mainor Calderon in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

56 minutes into the match, Qwinton Pedrosa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CD SHETTANI's Olger Azofeifa. Olger Azofeifa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olger Azofeifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerico Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hong Zheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Hong Zheng made a precise shot to the right of Sebastiano Treviño. Picanya FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 89th minute of the match CD SHETTANI got a corner. Picanya FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Villegas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 91st minute, Nestor Villegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Jerico Ramos got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
