When Lucrețiu Ogică came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the BVB 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Ogică couldn't finish the play. Walther Hörster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Ogică in the 15th minute of play forced 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's goalkeeper Dobromir Zdanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gigel Răduța was slow to take the kick. During this time BVB 09's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Octavian Caragea got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 30th minute, one of BVB 09:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BVB 09. Walther Hörster came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Ulryk Kajfasz. But to his dismay, Ulryk Kajfasz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 36th minute Jaroslaw Kaczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Hörster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walther Hörster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BVB 09's attentive Doru Balint managed to snatch the ball when Juliusz Opat made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. After the first half 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dobromir Zdanowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 86 minutes, Lucrețiu Agulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Agulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Zenon Ptaszek notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BVB 09's Walther Hörster. Walther Hörster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dobromir Zdanowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though BVB 09 had controlled the match.
