Brain Pain might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brain Pain ran back to his position shaking his head. 唐霖博 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Cefero's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Joel Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Eduardo Silva in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva. In the 17th minute, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星's 任振昂 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 任振昂 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 任振昂 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. 任振昂 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this 唐霖博 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Japi's zone, Edgar Dynda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Chaves came out of the goal and Edgar Dynda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Eduardo Silva in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Anderson de Brito.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brain Pain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星 got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Dynda. 54 minutes into the match, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but 唐霖博 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Anderson de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Eduardo Silva in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva. In the 69th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Neiva to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brain Pain in the 72nd minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brain Pain in the 74th minute of the match. 唐霖博 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星's 唐霖博 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星 from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Brain Pain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ青锋剑ㄨ→大众楚星's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Japi the free kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galo do Japi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
