The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes, BVB 09's Marian Demian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis-Miguel Camara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BVB 09 reached it. When Örjan Frisk came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Frisk couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucrețiu Ogică sped through Strömsbro IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis-Miguel Camara. Georg Ek kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Luis-Miguel Camara came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Ogică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Luis-Miguel Camara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucrețiu Ogică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis-Miguel Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tony Skarkman scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walther Hörster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Bornescu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Bornescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Bornescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Harry Blom in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BVB 09's Edgar Bornescu. Walther Hörster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Harry Blom in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BVB 09's Edgar Bornescu. 46 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Caragea came free, but Luis-Miguel Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavian Caragea to make the kick off. Luis-Miguel Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lucrețiu Ogică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis-Miguel Camara having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Skarkman in the 63rd minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Walther Hörster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strömsbro IF's Luis-Miguel Camara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, BVB 09's Lucrețiu Ogică sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis-Miguel Camara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BVB 09's Codruț Filimon was substituted for Marian Demian. BVB 09's Basarab Iorgovan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robert Falck in the 77 minute of the game. Luis-Miguel Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Ogică in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Luis-Miguel Camara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Răduța. In the 96th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Blom to maneuver through the defense. The BVB 09 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Strömsbro IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
