Dávid Strelec started the match with the kick off. Dobromir Zdanowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Strelec in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Barnaba Wojno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobromir Zdanowicz came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Nikola Krstović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Krstović in the 21st minute of play forced 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's goalkeeper Dobromir Zdanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Jestrimski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 27th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Hugo Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Zdanowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Alek Justus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Ptaszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute of the match, Jaroslaw Kaczynski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Fisher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alek Justus didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFK Petržalka's Hugo Fisher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. After the first half AFK Petržalka were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Kaczynski was the one to do the kick off. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alek Justus took the corner. Hugo Fisher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nikola Krstović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobromir Zdanowicz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Dávid Strelec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFK Petržalka's Hugo Fisher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 68th minute of play. Dobromir Zdanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 70th minute of play. When Nikola Krstović came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Krstović couldn't finish the play. Hugo Fisher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Ptaszek in the 76th minute of the match. 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Dobromir Zdanowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 78th minute of play. Hugo Fisher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 80th minute of play. Hugo Fisher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Zdanowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFK Petržalka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
