In the 20th minute, Artūras Zapolski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tanek Wojtyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Каблешково's Silban Arroyuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzey Kırgız in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match FC Brzesko City got a corner. Каблешково's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cezary Pilarski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FC Brzesko City's Roch Noworolnik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tanek Wojtyna made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Luis Sanchez in the 29th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After some careless play in the FC Brzesko City defense, José Luis Sanchez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanek Wojtyna. The FC Brzesko City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanek Wojtyna should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Browall in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Brzesko City's goalkeeper Tanek Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Luis Sanchez in the 66th minute of play.
