The supporters of Club 23 booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armağan Yörük made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Claude Montens however managed to control. After 26 minutes of play, Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zabulón Carabajal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sören Malmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Montens in the 37th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Adrian Ştoia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zabulón Carabajal skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Montens came free, but Sören Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Druțu Daniel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Klavertje Vier's zone, Bogdan Bogdanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zabulón Carabajal came out of the goal and Bogdan Bogdanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Klavertje Vier players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club 23 were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Bartoli made the kick off in the second half. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Robbie Yom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Claude Montens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Malmberg. Club 23's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claude Montens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Club 23 made a substitution. Petre Ciolofan replaced Emil Cioran.
