In the 9th minute Valentino Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Šako Grande in the 12th minute. The corner led C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Emanuel Huidu to fire away a dangerous shot which 姜青超 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angelo Rage scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 姜青超, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21stth minute of the game Diego Armando Maradona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Runa United's 姜青超 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Runa United booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Armando Maradona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Deckbergh in the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Runa United defense, Diego Armando Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 姜青超. The Runa United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 姜青超 should have stopped the shot. Angelo Rage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes, Diego Armando Maradona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L and the Runa United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Runa United's Tage Deckbergh got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Hellkvist made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Valentino Santana sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Rage might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 姜青超. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Rage ran back to his position shaking his head. Ingvar Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Bing Fei in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Edmund Przybyciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tage Deckbergh struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ingvar Hellkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runa United. 姜青超 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Rage in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Waldemar Watarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Angelo Rage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姜青超 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Rage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Rage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 姜青超 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esbjörn Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeng Bing Fei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Hellkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姜青超 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
