The throw-in from Lee Sissons in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brothers of Mercy's Leonardo Odeen. Gary Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Strömbom in the 13th minute of the match. Alexandre Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Duxbury in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Korona Kielce got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Sobolewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Strömbom in the 18th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Gary Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Pires made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Stephen Duxbury sent off a good shot on target. Gary Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Elg in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Elg came free, but Gary Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 28th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Gary Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gary Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Korzym in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Nial Todd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Rune Strömbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gary Ingram having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Bengt-Rune Strömbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephen Duxbury stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gary Ingram didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Rune Strömbom went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 61stth minute of the game Stephen Duxbury who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Korona Kielce got a freekick which was hit by Edi Carlo. Ulf Öfverman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Duxbury in the 70th minute of play. Korona Kielce were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Brothers of Mercy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nial Todd took the corner. Nial Todd made a great header on Korona Kielce's corner, it was just that Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Strömbom got free with Gary Ingram in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Sobolewski came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ulf Öfverman hit a great ball. Alexandre Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Duxbury in the 83rd minute of the match. When Korona Kielce's Stephen Duxbury in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mats Elg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Stephen Duxbury took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Pires. Alexandre Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Gary Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 92nd minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's Alexandre Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 94th minute of play. Gary Ingram was a little too slow when Ulf Öfverman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-4. Brothers of Mercy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
