Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5983, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Ogro F.C.'s Alexandre Aposan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Deen Castronovo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deen Castronovo couldn't finish the play. Conny Vesterberg succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Dick Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Rank 1 defense, Deen Castronovo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Hagström. The Rank 1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Hagström should have stopped the shot. Alexandre Aposan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rank 1's zone, Alexandre Aposan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Hagström came out of the goal and Alexandre Aposan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deen Castronovo in the 40th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Penha stood somewhat misplaced when Dick Lindgren came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 44 minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Terrana replaced Ramon Montagner. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Vesterberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ingo Schwichtenberg hit a great ball. When Rank 1's Dick Lindgren in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ogro F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Deen Castronovo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Marcus Hagström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ogro F.C.'s Mario Duplantier was substituted for Deen Castronovo. In the 73rd minute Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner. Aaron Spears went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 78th minute Conny Vesterberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Terrana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Hagström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mario Duplantier struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Marcus Hagström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. When Felix Curtis fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rank 1's protests and gave Felix Curtis a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rank 1's zone, Aaron Spears stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Hagström came out of the goal and Aaron Spears tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Duplantier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pedro Paulo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Antonini in the 95th minute of the match. Ingo Schwichtenberg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Rank 1's Conny Vesterberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Paulo Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rank 1 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ogro F.C. for a fine match.
