But to his dismay, Ignacy Cerocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Neto Chevillot hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Adrian Zbora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Adrian Zbora sped through Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Fontes. Ignacy Cerocki struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Richard Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buffalo Timişoara. Richard Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacy Cerocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Zbora made a kick off. Richard Fontes made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Valentin Voicu sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benny Škriniar was slow to take the kick. During this time Buffalo Timişoara's players had a chance to rest. Taquaritinga's Richard Fontes did a great save. With his leg Richard Fontes managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Buffalo Timişoara's Marin Tufescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marin Tufescus short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Richard Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanush Çarçani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buffalo Timişoara's Cornel Timofte was substituted for Arnulfo Marino. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tanush Çarçani got a free kick in the 72nd minute.
