An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Beyazit in the 37th minute of play forced Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Lichniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Sebastian Hodyl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ardo Viru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
