Spectators: 8459 (Terracing: 6345, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricky Meijers started the match with the kick off. Edwin Jennes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wolfgang Vesterø in the 5th minute. 任正振 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, 任正振 put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edwin Jennes. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Edwin Jennes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Arnauld Wiechgers got a free kick in the 16th minute. Edwin Jennes made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Wolfgang Vesterø sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwin Jennes. The goal made the score 2-0. Wolfgang Vesterø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Edwin Jennes made a huge save. Arnauld Wiechgers kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Wolfgang Vesterø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Edwin Jennes made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in VC zoetwater's zone, Wolfgang Vesterø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Jennes came out of the goal and Wolfgang Vesterø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wolfgang Vesterø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Jennes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as 任正振 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edwin Jennes. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. Wolfgang Vesterø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pheonix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolfgang Vesterø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Jennes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang Vesterø to make the kick off. Edwin Jennes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wolfgang Vesterø's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin Jennes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Edwin Jennes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolfgang Vesterø went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Torbjørn Præstensgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Jennes having to interfere. Wolfgang Vesterø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wolfgang Vesterø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfgang Vesterø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Jennes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Vesterø in the 76th minute of the match. Wolfgang Vesterø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Jennes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Torbjørn Præstensgaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Edwin Jennes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Wolfgang Vesterø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin Jennes was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The throw-in from Arnauld Wiechgers in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pheonix FC's Jonathan Rosby. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wolfgang Vesterø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VC zoetwater's Edwin Jennes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Vesterø in the 91st minute of play. The Pheonix FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Pheonix FC's Wolfgang Vesterø looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pheonix FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
