The audience thought a goal was coming when Erli Haaland got free with Bogdan Lobonț in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Victor Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Frenzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Vítor Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Emerald's Bogdan Lobonț got control of the ball when Erli Haaland tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Victor Piţurcă came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Emerald fans jumped to their feet. Emerald's Victor Piţurcă managed to work through SuRpRiSe's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Victor Piţurcă dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. SuRpRiSe's Tytus Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 75th minute of play. After 85 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Filip Figlewski. After 89 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Dulka. In the 95th minute, Gabriel Mălaimare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emerald's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
