Karl-Michael Brask started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti defense, Mădălin Cangeopol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Kelemen. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Kelemen should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Mădălin Cangeopol notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Igor Kelemen. Igor Kelemen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Kelemen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Mutu went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Adrian Mutu made a precise shot to the right of Igor Kelemen. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 24th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Igor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wagner Doro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Kelemen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Mutu's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Ponce Cruzado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Hațegan having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Ball came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponce Cruzado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Diego Tristan. After 43 minutes of play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Kelemen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Mutu made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Ball came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Adrian Mutu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Kelemen, 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Ernie Ball ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panait Hațegan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Mădălin Geamănu made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wagner Doro. In the 68th minute, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Codruț Ferenț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Kelemen having to interfere. Igor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Ursus Martin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mădălin Geamănu in the 77 minute of the game. Igor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 85th minute of play. Igor Kelemen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mutu came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Igor Kelemen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Igor Kelemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Cangeopol. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Mădălin Geamănu hit a great ball. Mădălin Cangeopol came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Igor Kelemen could save by the left post. Adrian Mutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Kelemen having to interfere. Mădălin Cangeopol scored 1-9 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Kelemen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tractorul Satulung -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
