Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sima Marinković took the kick off in the first half of the match. Iosif Şiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Omar Duardo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kylian Henry in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Duardo saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind. Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Armada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guo Ke Peng took the corner. The corner ended in Guo Ke Peng almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Armada's Cristi Miheș did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Henry in the 14th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guo Ke Peng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kylian Henry in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vancouver Reds's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. He Wei Feng was slow to take the kick. During this time Armada's players had a chance to rest. Kylian Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Omar Duardo made a huge save. Omar Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kylian Henry in the 32nd minute. Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sima Marinković, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Kylian Henry made a precise shot to the right of Omar Duardo. Vancouver Reds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 42 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Lilo Stich. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kylian Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Nicolás Castillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristi Miheș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 60 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Kylian Henry came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Macnelly Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Amédée Gillis replaced Pang Jun. Kylian Henry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Duardo having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kylian Henry in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Duardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by He Wei Feng in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Love Svensson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vancouver Reds's Maxwell Eddy was substituted for Guo Ke Peng. Love Svensson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Macnelly Torres got free with Cristi Miheș in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolás Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute, Nicolás Castillo made a precise shot to the right of Cristi Miheș. Armada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 86 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Anastasios Boukouvalas. Maxwell Eddy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristi Miheș. Armada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Lilo Stich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Henry in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Kylian Henry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Duardo. Vancouver Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kylian Henry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vancouver Reds players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Armada.
