Moose Knuckles's Svajūnas Ričkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Pil in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloyzas Valys got free with Aleksander Birkenhagen in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Åke Pil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Svajūnas Ričkus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Svajūnas Ričkus came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by ★C.I.A.sna★16's Åke Pil. But to his dismay, Åke Pil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With an all-out effort, Moose Knuckles's Aleksander Birkenhagen threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaunius Balčaitis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26th minute of the match, Jedrzej Beninda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksander Birkenhagen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Svajūnas Ričkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Pil in the 30th minute of the match. Åke Pil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svajūnas Ričkus having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Aleksander Birkenhagen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 43rd minute Åke Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svajūnas Ričkus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half ★C.I.A.sna★16 were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boruc Wietrzychowski to make the kick off.
