The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriele Koffidis got free with Ambrosio Peruxu in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Birila came free, but Jiang Kun Liang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiang Kun Liang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ambrosio Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Oolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Sansone in the 38th minute of play forced Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Jiang Kun Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Golo Oolo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ambrosio Peruxu. The goal made the score 3-0. Walter Samuels was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Samuels to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Het Koffiehuis's Tobias Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 60th minute.
