The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Gaucho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akşemseddin Taran was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Christian Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Dante Rafe notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Gustavo Aparecido. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akşemseddin Taran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Rafe to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Rafe in the 55th minute. Humberto Rodrigues hit a great ball. Tytus Jaszcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gustavo Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Gaucho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Akşemseddin Taran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Akşemseddin Taran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tytus Jaszcz during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tytus Jaszcz hit a great ball. Tytus Jaszcz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Gustavo Aparecido made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Metapalo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙.
