When Nicolaus Strufve fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Randkleve's protests and gave Nicolaus Strufve a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Randkleve's Nicolaus Strufve got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Miguel Godoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1989 Blxsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eilif Hørmand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Godoy's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. If Harold Bergfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Bo Vedholm got a free kick in the 8th minute. Randkleve's Eilif Hørmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Ostargi in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Abel Marquez sped through Randkleve's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eilif Hørmand. If Celestino Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Dorio's late challenge caught a Randkleve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Dorio helped the player get up and apologised. Celestino Millano scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eilif Hørmand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 33 minutes, Celestino Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1989 Blxsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eilif Hørmand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Randkleve's Eilif Hørmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Millano in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celestino Millano in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eilif Hørmand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1989 Blxsk were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Randkleve's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sokol Mudrov took the corner. Eilif Hørmand came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy. But to his dismay, Miguel Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Godoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Heine Nyster charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heine Nyster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Randkleve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heine Nyster to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Celestino Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eilif Hørmand was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 59 minutes Randkleve's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sokol Mudrov who took care of the corner kick. Sokol Mudrov made a great header on 1989 Blxsk's corner, it was just that Randkleve's Eilif Hørmand managed to reach the ball for a save. Celestino Millano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eilif Hørmand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1989 Blxsk. Eilif Hørmand was a little too slow when Celestino Millano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-6. A collision led to Randkleve getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Harold Bergfos hit a great ball. 1989 Blxsk made a substitution. Mick Snowdon replaced Bo Vedholm. In the 71st match minute, Randkleve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Bergfos to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Miguel Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Randkleve's Eilif Hørmand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eilif Hørmand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celestino Millano in the 76th minute. With his leg Eilif Hørmand managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when 1989 Blxsk's Miguel Godoy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the match, Celestino Millano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eilif Hørmand. Randkleve's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Millano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Miguel Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1989 Blxsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eilif Hørmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celestino Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1989 Blxsk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
