A sloppy throw-in by Lewis van Dijk in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Dario Jorrin. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Vachon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manúel Bento was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ezequiel Centurión made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla in the 31st minute of play. After 89 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Verón. When King Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Aimar couldn't finish the play.
