With a little luck, Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen got control of the ball when Ronaldão Jaafari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 33rd minute of the match. Leonard Gregersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Xiao Ao in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Xi Di came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sune Bergdal made a kick off. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michel Neuer firmly grabbed it by the left post.
