A collision led to River de Ramos Mejía getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bartolo Maju hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Necaettin Beksan came free, but Dionisio Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Nusret Tanyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Hatayspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Gündüz Yesari to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Aureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Necaettin Beksan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Derman İncirli hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nusret Tanyol in the 14th minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Dionisio Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Gündüz Yesari in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Aureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Asrın Ergök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dionisio Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necaettin Beksan in the 30th minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Dionisio Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nusret Tanyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necaettin Beksan in the 33rd minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Dionisio Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nusret Tanyol kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Hatayspor's Necaettin Beksan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Aureo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Gündüz Yesari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Aureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Hatayspor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Indartsu to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Hatayspor's Dionisio Aureo threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 56 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Yesari came free, but Dionisio Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Ahmet Gündüz Yesari got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dionisio Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Hatayspor got a freekick which was hit by Emre Vefi. Dionisio Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ahmet Gündüz Yesari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Nusret Tanyol came free, but Dionisio Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hatayspor getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ahmet Gündüz Yesari hit a great ball. When Bartolo Maju fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River de Ramos Mejía's protests and gave Bartolo Maju a yellow card for diving instead. After 81st play minutes Necaettin Beksan shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Dionisio Aureo and just under the crossbar into goal. Necaettin Beksan took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Aureo. Dionisio Aureo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Hatayspor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
