Spectators: 7485 (Terracing: 5684, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 151) Plaza Jewell's Modesto Efraim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godfredo Unai, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Angel Etxeberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Efraim in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Angel Etxeberri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Enzo Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Laureano Chabier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angel Etxeberri. Laureano Chabier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Angel Etxeberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Efraim in the 31st minute. Domingo Fidensio charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Fidensio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Fidensio. Angel Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Medardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Chabier in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Etxeberri saved Academia FC from getting behind. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Maximo Gau hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Efraim came free, but Angel Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Modesto Efraim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Jewell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Laureano Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Chabier in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Laureano Chabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Angel Etxeberri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Efraim came free, but Angel Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Modesto Efraim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Etxeberri. Academia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Efraim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Modesto Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Chabier came free, but Angel Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Laureano Chabier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Enzo Frantzes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Angel Etxeberri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Efraim's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Plaza Jewell were the better team. Plaza Jewell's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
