The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Chancy Olympique booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmet Ulun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Menderes Mertoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remo Steingher. Menderes Mertoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Aktan Çakmur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alişan Suer got free with Remo Steingher in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remo Steingher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Menderes Mertoğlu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menderes Mertoğlu in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Menderes Mertoğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remo Steingher. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Zurbuchen to maneuver through the defense. Clement Schwartz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Menderes Mertoğlu succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. In the 35th match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Zurbuchen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chancy Olympique's Lienhard DeGrasse got a free kick in the 37th minute. Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menderes Mertoğlu in the 39th minute of play. Namık Atik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Menderes Mertoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo Steingher was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

51 minutes into the game, Carno FK's Alişan Suer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo Steingher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to Carno FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nejat Harzemşah hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Alişan Suer notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher. Remo Steingher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claude Zurbuchen struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Batı Özbilek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chancy Olympique. After 72 minutes, Lienhard DeGrasse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chancy Olympique and the Carno FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Chancy Olympique got a freekick which was hit by Lienhard DeGrasse. Menderes Mertoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Remo Steingher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Alişan Suer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Steingher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo Steingher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Menderes Mertoğlu went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. If Alişan Suer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Alişan Suer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carno FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Edgar Waltispühl kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Menderes Mertoğlu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Remo Steingher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carno FK. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carno FK had played much better football throughout.
